Following last night’s statement from the UK Government, I wanted to update you on PSA’s operational position during these unprecedented times. Our primary duty of care is to our team and their families, and to follow government guidelines. Over the last few weeks, we’ve relocated as many of our staff as possible to home working. They are able to deliver the usual high level of service you’ve come to expect from PSA, via their normal contact numbers and email. Our team is available from 9 am to 6 pm as usual. To protect our warehouse teams, we’ve introduced increased health and safety requirements and made some additional changes to our operations. This week, we’ve ended customer collections from our warehouses to reduce the number of external visitors to our sites. Our logistics partner DHL, who is located within our facility, is still delivering as usual although they have introduced slightly different procedures for obtaining PODs which no longer require physical contact. Demand on certain product lines is unprecedented at present and we’re working round the clock to meet all our customer’s demands. We hope you’ll understand that we’re prioritising orders for critical industries such as NHS, Government, education and transport. Thank you for your understanding and continued support in these uncertain times. We’re clearly following the Government’s latest advice and should anything change we will, of course, update you immediately.
